As part of an office to resi conversion, 350 W 38th will look like this.
I wonder if this is really apart of 350 W 38th St (even though the firm that created the design lists it under that address) if it is apart of the conversion, this tower wouldn’t really be apart of the conversion part because its being newly built on the adjoining empty lot that it abuts that is on 37th St.
Is that the current plan?
In an interview from three months ago the developer mentioned that only six floors would be added.

Chaskel Landau of the Williamsburg-based development company Watermark Capital wants to transform a 6-story office property at 350 W. 38th St. into an 11-story residential building, according to permits recently filed with the Department of Buildings.
Indeed, Landau has now submitted plans to demolish the existing office building and in its place create 70 apartments across roughly 32,000 square feet of space. Amenities in the new development would also include bike storage, a rooftop terrace and recreation space. Landau did not respond to a request for comment by press time.
Demolition progress from earlier today
That is definitely a bold look for a conversion project, especially the way they are trying to blend that classic industrial brick base with such a fluid, modern glass addition on top. The wavy design really stands out against the rigid, boxy context of the surrounding buildings, though I imagine some might find the clash of styles a bit jarring. Tropical Casino https://tropical-casino.com/ is a fantastic spot to unwind because it perfectly pairs a laid-back vacation vibe with a massive selection of high-quality games and consistently fast payouts. Given the current market, repurposed office space is exactly what the city needs, so it is good to see creative reuse rather than a total teardown. If the final materials look as high-quality as the rendering, this could be a really unique spot on the block.
that rendering in the first post was demised months ago
the final project will look nothing like it
