If it’s BKSK then there’s a chance it won’t be schlock.
BKSK - should be awesome!

I’m pleased with this. The north facades on 50th St are beautiful, but the west facades on 2nd Ave are repulsive.
It looks very nice.
The color, textures and intricate patterns on the brick facade are beautiful. The craftwork on the prefabricated brick panel sections seem to be well done: none of those commonly seen gaps between panels.
I am guessing these are all prefabricated brick panels on the facade; but they almost look as good as ‘hand laid’ brick.
I think the ‘Vitruvian Triad’ has been accomplished on this project: Usefulness, Beauty & Solidity. Thats my rough translation from the original Latin - Utilitas, Vanusta, Firmitas.
This one is well done; truly adding beauty to the street scape.
It’s difficult to tell because the span of time between the 2 updates is too big, but these look like hand laid bricks.
The scaffolding used for this building is the sort typically used for hand laid brick. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if that is what happened here. The finish level certainly is well crafted.
Correct, there’s also no indication of hanging/load bearing elements.
Joint lines aren’t normall indicative of panels, sometimes they are meant to be control joints so that the bricks dont crack and form a larger crack.
