Itâs dull, gray and beige. And 2/3 of the thirty-something balconies are a jokeâwell under three feet wide. Nobody will ever use them. They are cartoon balconiesâfake features. The money wouldâve been better spent elsewhere.
Itâs hardly a disaster, but dismal eighth avenue could stand better.
Balconies like that work as fire escapes.

Itâs rental so everyone will have to pay Con Ed. Plus each unit has more control over their temp.
