NEW YORK | 270 Park Ave | 1,389 FT | 70 FLOORS

Elevator entrances.
The photo with the marble door jambs are the entrances at the 1st floor of Banks A & B. The photo with the copper nickel jambs are the entrances at the 14th floor of Banks A & B.
The 14th floor entrances have much taller transom panels over the 108" high doorways.

It doesn’t look patriotic, to me it says JPM captured the flag.

I think the inference was, with each passing day, the U.S.A resembles a banana republic… where (according to Wikipedia -that awful crowd-sourced resource) the country is operated as a private commercial enterprise for the exclusive profit of the ruling class

Um. Those interior renders are gorgeous, but…

Are they really putting a flagpole in the lobby? They do know the wind tends not to blow indoors, right?

Speaking of wind, I would not want to be on that cable-suspended staircase on a windy day.

The flag does look like it’s flapping like it does outside. Either the air from the entrances are doing it or there’s mechanical equipment on the ceiling for it
