talks about a multi building campus
I thought that was already relatively a well known thing, even before Union Carbide was raised, JPMC has owned several buildings in this cluster for a while. It was already a campus.
i knew about the madison ave bldg but not the other two
Looks like the fences came down. I wasn’t able to get a perspective like this since there was fencing and other obstructions.
this building was absolutely worth the wait.
It looks like large swaths of the crown lights are already busted.
they’re not busted. They’ve been testing them for the past few months or so. This is actually the closest its come to full lighting.
At first glance I thought that was a rendering. Awesome shot!
A couple of photos of the custom non-directional finish lacquered copper nickel entrances at the 1st and 14th floors.
So stunning. I hope this building raises the bar for lighting quality in new NYC skyscrapers.
Superb finishes.
The landing doors seem to differ in heights here, judging by the location of the keyholes. Are the 2 lower floor banks named A and G?
this building puts the chinese to shame, well done new york ![]()
I think this is the first lighting scheme photo that I’ve liked, having found most of the other schemes overwrought and/or tacky. This, by contrast, is understated yet striking, as elegant things often are. I hope this reflects how it will look on most nights.
