Great post
It may be a slight difference in the angle on that particular panelâthese panels change tone a lot depending on the light conditions.
in this picture one of them looks almost silver
Our flaneur!
hehehe, I had to google it
Sheâs bright!
Wowwww and we know it will be maintained because of who the owner is. Look forward to more!!
Magnificent. 270âs lighting is going to be absolutely epic. I canât wait to see the diamonds on the sides lit.
The direct lighting actually looks alittle âtooâ bright, though that may just be due to the distortion of light on the live cam, probably isnt that bright, but im hoping the indirect lighting on the E/W faces is much softer since it should be.
Still, seeing it on the actually building now, Idk how I feel about where/how the direct lighting just sort of randomly starts above midway up the tower. I wouldâve changed the starting relation.
Beautiful!! While Iâm unsure of the brightness of those LEDs in person, it reminds me a lot of the First National Bank building here in Dallas that (despite having similar vertical LEDs) doesnât appear to be too bright!
One of my favorite buildings in Dallas. However, sometimes I wish that the Renaissance Tower and First National Bank Building change colors for special occasions as the rest of the Dallas Skyline does.
ohhh I cant wait til this is completed
Looks like thatâs going to be really, really, really, really bright.
Rather have that than the joke that is most lighting displays in NYC
New York City doesnât need lighting displays. Thatâs for cities who are trying to get attention. New York City has the greatest skyline in the world. Maybe not the tallest anymore, but such a wide variety of styles, and history, and new, modern buildings too.
NYC doesnât need anything lol. It looks good and thatâs all the justification I need
From the renders I thought it would be more of a yellowish color (unless it is because the Chrysler building lights look very white in the pic too)
Either way this is going to look so good at night
It seems to be a test of the lighting which explains why itâs starting in the middle.
Also, the brightness is perfect and wonât get drowned out and rendered invisible by the office lighting (3 WTC and The Spiral suffer from this). Let it be NYCâs answer to the Bank of China building in Hong Kong.
