Great shots! I tried going up to the roofs of Arthaus and The Laurel in Philly when their concrete structures were completed (before the steel) but they would not let me. Seems you guys got to go ALL the way up!

Remember when the Four Seasons building was such a big deal?

They enclosed the Park Ave entrance and put temporary walls on the vestibule, leaving 2 of the overall panes open probably to bring larger deliveries/equipment in and out of the lobby. They’re also putting up the formwork for the curb/sidewalk rebuilds on 47th.

No new progress on Madison side, I wouldn’t be surprised if they start to put the soffit cladding before they start doing stuff for the green/stone walls.

Only the base of the derrick crane remains.

I’d love to see some photos of the lobby work being completed at the 1st and 14th floors.
Anybody have access to the interior of this incredible building?

That’s a wild pano/wide angle shot @TK2000 :eyes:

I didnt take any photos because I was in a rush to get somewhere, but they’ve already poured the new curb and sidewalk extensions on the south side of 47th St and what looked like most of the south half of the 47th St roadbed. It also looked like all entryway sections have been cladded/glassed off and the vestibules temporarily enclosed.

I could not really tell but it also looked like the steps leading up to the Madison Ave side had been poured as well, atleast the underlayment for them anyways since the majority if not the whole 270 lot will probably be paved over instead of just being concrete.
