Looks like theyve installed the base to the top most BMU or it could be the base of a derrick crane, though it looks more like the former.

thats the BMU for sure. id expect the crane to jump down a bit, then put the derrick on one of the setbacks

What’s the benefit of them cleaning the windows now? Aren’t they just going to get dirty again as construction progresses?
Sometimes it gets so caked on during construction, it takes multiple runs afterwards to get it off. Maybe they think this way they can cut down on the accumulation so when it is done, it will just be a quick process.
There are spots on 4 World Trade that still aren’t totally clean from construction despite several attempts.
