Someone had mentioned cable’s hanging from the underside of the lower tabletop floor, those are not related to that light installation that was posted a few days back, those are supporting a temporary catwalk

Why is there so much cross bracing on these upper floors?
That’s just the internal bracing for the core. It should become more slim within the next few floors, the core will be flush with the parapet through the very top section when topped out
There is bracing on the “core” portion of the steelwork in the 4th tier, but I’m sure SMCYB is refering to the general presence of bracing other than that in the core, which to answer the question is typical of mechanical floors to lessen lateral loads.

Notice the fearless dudes hanging out on the boom of the crane - yikes. Anyone know what they’re doing?
could be doing any number of things.
most likely inspection of the sheaves and load line.
they could be changing the main load line configuration (from two parts to one part)
or, more significantly, they could be changing the load line, but i doubt that. not many hours on that crane or its parts.
