Nice find. I walked past last month and the buildings were a couple stories high. They went quick to demo. Looks like a nice neighbor to the recently finished aloft hotel next door.
this has been in the works for awhile. I’m glad the old beaux arts building is staying for now. Hopefully it’ll get landmarked
I was walking LIC today and there are so many smaller buildings going up. I believe this is the same lot described in this article but perhaps the design is different as there are more than 9 floors.
