So bad. ![]()
I canât even say itâs lazy because it feels like they went out of their way to make it overly kitsch. Genuinely just an offensive building. Like an architectural slur.
While I know these units are for the ultra-rich, this still feels like some Great Value-brand Billionaireâs Row tower with that core sticking out. If they had at least added some glass panels to cover it up, it wouldnât seem so much like an afterthought by the designers ![]()
I can already see this building falling into disrepair due to lazy owners as rust stains leak from the âport holesâ while dirt and grime from years of neglect make the base a mish-mash of different shades of white and grey ![]()
if this thing starts to rust itâll probably look better, in like a dystopian way
I donât think Iâve ever seen a single positive comment on this buildingâŚâŚâŚâŚrightfully so
The design is meh and it blocks a sightline of the Empire State Building that is considered iconic. I donât hate it but I wouldnât be upset if the city decided to demolish it in the future.
i think it wouldâve been better around the Sutton Place or something like that
If this building was buried somewhere in the mass of midtown Manhattan I wouldnât care. Itâs because of where itâs located is whatâs most upsetting to me.
I actually like this building. I hope that the developer pays attention to the finishing touches. Theyâre taking a long time to finish which means they could be having money troubles.
If I had a few extra bucks laying around Iâd consider living here. The views are probably spectacular.
The floorplans are not good. You could do better and Iâll wager that there will be construction issues a la 432 Park.
Thank you, I didnât know what that snail meant.
This Instagram page is hilarious
I saw this reel but didnât realize the entire account is dedicated to hating this building. Hilarious.
Literally the MetLife building of the 21st century
Proof your zoning code has failed you.
The shiny, shimmering, faceted metallic facade material is beautiful. My only complaint is the subtle visual effect of that material is lost after about the 15th floor. Once above the 15th floor all color, shimmer, and fine texture simply fades away. ![]()
Seems a terrible waste of an expensive custome made material. ![]()
However, I donât want to be the one to VE (Value Engineer) that feature - so let it be. ![]()

The material always seemed a waste to me, since the impression it creates is less of shimmering, shining beauty than the the static of a black and white television set. Not exactly something these old eyes expectedâor wantedâto see again! And on 5th Ave no less!
