2011 promotional material depicted T3 at it’s final height, and T4 at its final height (most dbox renders kept it at the original ~270m figure, not 298m).
The design best finishes the spiral.

I still pathetically hold out hope that the diamond design for 2 WTC will get built and 1 WTC will get a properly covered spire one day. Sadly unlikely. I wonder if they could ever re-clad the podium of 1 WTC to reveal the chamfered corners and steel design that was intended to be seen.

2wtc is now referred to as 1170ft tall in this bio (last leaseable floor? Top of crown?).
Zigomanis also led AAI’s work in what’s built of the Eastern Bathtub.

They are with a ton of architects (Silverstein hired them directly to manage the entire tower trio) but that’s right. Anyway I have no idea what’s going on with this dumpster fire…
But I did (quite coincidentially) find a portfolio from an ex-AAI with full detailed street level and first subgrade of the entire site from 2006.

that view of the built base of 2 WTC Or Tower 2 in my case is kinda cool unlike the recent 3 designs we’ve gotten such as the blocky stair like design including the 2 Green designs and that unfamiliar design foster made to show that if 2 wtc could be built by 2023 or 2022 but that hasn’t happened to far but hopefully silverstein and American Express can finally reach a deal and a agreement so they can get this 2 World Trade Center tower built at last
Its too bad they dont ever reuse design propsals. If we cant have the design built as 2wtc I wish we could at least get it built somewhere else. It deserves to be built. I was never a fan of BIG’s design for 2wtc but if they built it somewhere else I’d be fine with it. But anyway we’re getting closer to the anniversary so if the news about amex agreeing to lease the building is true hopefully we hear something soon
