NEW YORK | 200 East 83rd Street | 489 FT | 36 FLOORS

Does anyone know if the floor with the 2 story arched windows is a mechanical floor or a super dramatic apartment?

I’m guessing fancy duplex but what do I know.

Some of the images in this chain seem to show a floor through the middle of the openings (though it could be a scaffold level). If it’s a floor the we’ll probably see some fancy windows and/or balconies.

Big update on the website:

If you look at the tower rendering you can see a pool through one of the big arched windows. Most if not all of those floors will probably be taken up by amenities. Yeah, those are amenities floors:

Today, CityRealty answered my question. The double height arched windows is the 17th floor amenity floor. Nice view for a 70 foot swimming pool! Really beautiful building. I would take this “Hysterical Recreation” (quote unquote from infoshare) than any glass box. 109 E 79th St is a decent looking building, certainly better than a glass box, but not beautiful like this. We shall see how 109 E 79th sells compared to this and the other RAMSA buildings. The market response is king.
