Too blue, I want silver!

Didn’t notice that at first, yes would prefer the silver/ white look we have seen over a boring blue.

It’s hard to tell in the sunset renderings, but the few official daylight renderings as well as the promotional video seem to show a blue glass similar to that of One Vanderbilt:

“When JPMorgan builds this brand-new headquarters, the competitors of JPMorgan will want to be in that type of space as well,” said Scott Rechler, the chief executive of RXR, a real estate company.

RXR has proposed one of the largest of the office buildings yet to start construction, at 175 Park Avenue, on the site of a Grand Hyatt hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Mr. Rechler hopes to break ground next year, but the tower needs an anchor tenant, a large company that could commit to leasing about a quarter of it, which would be roughly 500,000 square feet.

I hope they find that anchor tenant, because this will be one of the most beautiful skyscrapers in the world.

colossus of new york

Since we opened up the center, we have had over 15 million square feet of potential tenants seriously consider occupancy in the building. The interest ranges by industry and in size, and this is for spaces becoming available in 2029-2030.

What does that have to do with this tower?

new tenant?

I think this is the super tall that has the best chance out of all the proposals. This next to Vanderbilt and 270 Part would be insane.

Microscape seems to be working with them! That’s interesting to see

I dont believe that’s the case, they posted that they had included the tower in their models in March 2023 (of which someone posted/shared that IG post here subsequently), based on publicly available information, they would have had the updated design if they were working with/on the project.

The first image is a sales model for Monogram NY (135 E 47th St) as it’s building is the one highlighted.

The larger model doesnt have any relevancy to this tower besides including it, as there are just random sites being highlighted with no relation to the developers (Chrysler Building, One Vanderbilt, The entire One Bryant Park and 4 Times square block, One WTC, ESB and the NYT building.)

There is one potential anchor tenant gone.

“A person with knowledge of the investment firm’s real-estate decision-making said that in the long term, it’s considering a deal to potentially anchor a new office tower. Peers in the financial industry have sought such state-of-the-art spaces nearby, including JPMorgan, which is building a soaring new headquarters tower at 270 Park Avenue."
