I agree. Midtown is starting to look like Houston or Tel Aviv. I think that it may be the worst part of Manhattan South of 96th St.
They have been active the last couple months

This is not the original thread for Soloviev’s site as it was originally for a parcel that they did not used to own, a different tower was going to rise on that parcel.
The official address for Soloviev’s SOM designed tower is 12 West 57th, not any of the addresses you’ve listed. All of the addresses you listed were absorbed into that project, which has it’s own thread.

The post mentions it was commissioned by a confidential client, I dug up some of the site’s history but I have no idea who might be the current developer.

This “is” the right thread (they have the same names so there’s no reason to think it doesn’t belong here), however this lot was absorbed into 12 W 57th St’s overall assemblage. This thread/project technically doesn’t really exist anymore.
The same 3d viz studio has another promotional video from May of 2024, this seems to just be another instance of a 3d viz studio making their own project for a client, like the other “visionary” tower that was designed and plopped all over NY by that other 3d viz studio that was structurally impossible. They did not put “by a confidential client” on the reel/older post and only did so on the one from May of this year.
