The crane dismantling continues. Hopefully they’ll finish cladding that last part of the southern elevation soon!
That last shot is amazing!! Great shots!
Thanks man. I just picked up a 600mm lens and tried it out in LIC, BK, and Hoboken last weekend. My arms are very tired lol.
My god, that’s a lense I’d strive for! Try and get shots from Jersey City by the waterfront!
I like your hues and contrast too.
My arm legit hurts after using the 600mm lol

Wow. Down to the last detail. Classy.
This is where ‘iconic’ architecture actually adds significant value to the sale price of a condo apartment; the same floor plan/square footage in any of the neighboring plain-Jane super tall condos will not command the same price point.
With the possible exception of 220 CPS - that one is ‘almost’ in the same Architectural league.
This is my analogy on the aesthetics appeal of the two buildings. One Eleven W 57th is to 220 CPS, as the Chrysler Building is to the Empire State building. They are both Iconic: but one more so than the other IMHO…

8 years to the date after the tower crane collapse at One 57 during Sandy.
winds are probably gusting up there at least 30 mph with Zeta off the coast.
