Spectacular. I can’t believe this one is almost topped out. Felt like a dream just a little bit ago.

Excellent shots. Dynamic, rich. That 2nd shot is surreal. How the light casts on One57, and the big players aligned almost in a linear fashion. Possibly the light serving as a reminder that One57 is still there, being over**“shadowed”** by the monoliths. The golden light casted reminisce of One 57 being the god father that brought creation to all the other super talls we are seeing on this corridor.

Like father like son, the father brought life to the other super talls, growing to become bigger and better than he was. That’s how I interpret this shot.

I have to repost your shot again, because it deserves it.

Epic!

Thanks Chris - Lucky this time of year that it is still light out when I get out of work. Last night was the Museum Mile and 5th avenue was shut down for the event…too bad it wasn’t closed as far down as 57th street because that second shot was almost the last one I ever took - the traffic cop blew his whistle just as a crosstown bus was bearing down on me as I was framing that up.
