I just want to point out what a weird shape this lot is, and the way it juts into nearby lots is truly bizarre.

uh. that’s it? kinda unimpressive.
I mean… it’s fine. I do not like to put negativity into the world. But I used to live very near there and care very much about that area, so I… had higher hopes for this project.

My guess is that is an old farm plot.
Sadly, the quality of the new buildings around those blocks is not great.
At least they are bringing density and stitching the urban fabric in an area that needs it.
Fleet street used to extend from flatbush towards myrtle before the housing redevelopment. You can see the last stub of the street at Flatbush and the LIC campus, and the easements of the old streets in that tax map.
The back of this lot used to be street facing.
