What do you think of plans to change the geometric profile and overall character of the tunnel at Union Station?

The upgrade is desperately needed. Too much of our transit infrastructure is that 70s-80s crap that looks awfully dated and ages poorly. The upgrades at Union Station are really nice and the fact they’re building a trainshed is pretty cool. It’ll also keep out some of the elements too, making waiting on the platform much more tolerable.
The new tunnel also pays homage to the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad which is a nice touch.

There will be no housing here at 69 Daggett Street. Instead, just a surface carpark.

This is moving forward faster than I thought it would, though it is smaller than the other two lab buildings. Hopefully it means they connect Congress and Temple sooner rather than later.
