„Plans have just been filed for a 69-story tower called Summit Brickell.
Miami-Dade records show that a pre-application for the project was filed with county planners on July 17.
The filing shows that Summit Brickell is planned to top off at 825 feet, and include:
- 500 residential units
- 2,174 square feet of ground floor commercial space
- amenities on level 13 and 69, including a rooftop pool on the 69th floor
- 480 parking spaces on levels 2 through 12 (no minimum parking is required)
Summit Brickell “is an architectural work of art that will redefine the skyline of Miami’s vibrant Brickell neighborhood with urban uses,” a representative of the developer wrote.
“It’s sleek and contemporary design, with shifting volumes and rounded corners, will complement and add to the existing uses and developments in the area,” the letter said.
Corwil is the architect.
Lore Development Group is the developer. The company, a joint venture between Leste Group and Brazilian real estate firm Opportunity Fundo de Investimento Imobiliário said last month that it had acquired the property for $35 million, with plans for a $500 million tower.
The land is across from the Brickell Metrorail and Metromover station
Groundbreaking is planned in June 2024, with completion in Summer 2027.“
