An 18-story, 27-unit condo tower has been proposed behind the Lehman-tangled Golden Sands, just north of of Canyon Ranch in Miami Beach.
Miami Beach’s Historic Preservation Board had approved a plan in 2006 for a tower on the property located at 6901 Collins Avenue, but it was never built. The new plan would partially demolish the Golden Sands, as had been previously approved.

The developer is South Florida Condominium Management, Inc. The architect is Luis Revuelta, and the landscape architect is Lewis & Nielsen Design.

Each unit will feature a large balcony with a private outdoor whirlpool. There will also be an upper deck lap pool and oceanfront infinity edge pool.
