LOS ANGELES | 1233 S. Grand Ave. | 253 FT | 24 FLOORS

The proposed development, intended for the site of a current surface parking lot, would consist of a 24-story building featuring 161 residential units and nearly 2,100 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Plans call for a combination of studio, one- and two-bedroom flats, as well as townhouse units and penthouse suites. The project would also include parking accommodations for up to 215 vehicles and 182 bicycles in an above- and below-ground garage.

The tower, which would rise to a maximum height of 253 feet, is being designed by Los Angeles-based Steinberg Architects. Renderings portray a glassy, modern building adorned with a podium-level garden and a rooftop pool and amenity deck. Above-grade parking levels would be obscured from view through the use of perforated metal panels.
