As far as I can tell, no one is happy about this move. Not baseball fans in general, not people living in Vegas (especially not after the raiders fiasco), and sure as hell not the Oakland Fans.
Well maybe the Team owners are happy they get to scam another town out of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Congrats to you I guess? The residents of Vegas aren’t particularly happy about being grifted out of 500 million that they will never get back and they get a trash team. And Oakland isn’t happy to lose their last pro sports team. And baseball fans in general (as well as the larger public) are pissed at the owner because they know exactly the game he’s playing, he’s being absolutely as cheap as possible and ruining the team as much as he can to force the MLB to let him move.

I have been a huge baseball fan for 20 years.
A’s games will be very fun in Vegas as opposed to that dump in Oakland.
Other fans will eventually catch on.
Owners of pro sports teams always act like assclowns, and taxpayers always get screwed.
This is the way it has always been, and that’s the way it always shall be.
And unfortunately there’s nothing anyone can do about this.
So I think we all just need to relax, chill out, drink the Kool-aid and enjoy the game.

Vegas is getting the worst team in Baseball. But ignoring that public money should never be given to these private franchises.

It’s $380 million in public financing.
That’s peanuts for the privilege of your city having an MLB team.
81 extra big events a year, and that’s not including the playoffs. It was a no-brainer.
The people in Las Vegas are smarter than the people in Oakland.
