Agreed. What a let down compared to Park and Shore and the Ellipse. I hope the ground floor retail on the riverfront walkway being successful will be it’s one redeeming quality

Site has been dead past few weeks. The foundation is done, and one piece of vertical rebar was erected. Guess they are taking a short hiatus while transferring from the foundation crew (it was tiny) to a larger construction crew.

Lots of activity on site again. Looks like over a dozen construction workers starting rebar. It was mostly dormant since last fall or so (other than putting down some asphalt).

I walked by the Newport sales office last night and the tower model was in the overall masterplan model they have on display so I think construction should be gearing up

Looks like the smaller white building is prefab construction? Reminds me of how they built the latest embankment project in Hamilton Park.

It looks like a retrofitted parking deck… but who knows. Maybe it’ll look better when finished
