Was this originally planned to be taller?
The tower portion of phase 1 is starting. And the podium portion of phase 2 has begun to rise above ground level.

The first facade segment has been installed. The north tower is now 2 floors above the podium (14th floor) and the south tower is completely above ground level.

It makes the JSQ PATH station look even more dated next to it… Really excited for the new retail and the pedestrian plaza in front as well

The JSQ PATH office-transit center needs to be redeveloped. Knock it down, build a grand transit hall and soaring residential towers.

Currently pouring the 21st floor (of 66 total levels) for the north tower.

The view of Journal Squared from Bergen Ave about to be permanently blocked by One Journal Sq. And meanwhile, the view of One Journal Square from Summit Ave about to be blocked by 501 Summit Ave.
