Latest news is that CMPND has already started pre leasing. Finish looks nice and decent with good prices.
I heard they haven’t received TCO yet. Probabbly for marketing purposes. That’s what they do now.
Does anyone here know why Namdar buildings doesn’t add any trees around their buildings? I am a Yimby but I hate seeing this. JSQ is all concrete, renters are looking for a more pedestrian friendly streets.
Every new building in JC has to add sidewalk trees every 25 ft unless there is interference with utilities, building entrances, etc. Cottage St is not wide enough for street trees, since a minimum 5 feet of sidewalk must be kept clear from obstructions. Homestead Pl was subject to a community-driven design process. That process did not recommend trees along Homestead, but rather shrubs and low vegetation).

Don’t know what the deal is along Central Ave or Van Reipen Ave (can’t find the documents online), but I think it’s some combination of utility issues. The Pavonia Ave building will have trees though.
