Youtube says this account has been closed. Do you know anything about that?

He was hacked. Youtube took down the account. He’s currently working to get it reinstated, may have to start a new channel.

Kinda sucks that most of the documentation of this project is on a single channel because CAHSR sucks at PR apparently.

I figured. That sucks. Thanks.

Connecting Central Valley first was clearly an attempt to show proof of concept to inspire the will to connect everything else.

I’ve also seen some people complain about this project not working because there are too many stops and that takes up too much time to be worthwhile. But that can easily be remedied by having express trains that don’t stop at every station.

There are few things I hate more in life than naysayers. California is one of the biggest economies in the world, they clearly need something like this to ease the housing demand thats become unsustainable.

Finally. Massive structure. Good to see things getting completed

Actually a pretty good video about the project instead of a hit piece

This isn’t part of the HSR project, but HSR will run on these lines and having them grade separated will boost speed, efficiency and limit the ability to cause wrecks

Damn paywall. This is really cool news though. Where are the solar plants going to be located?

This one was particularly hard to get through. I’ll try and look at it again. Give me a minute

Edit: Alright no exact location yet.

Fun fact: Use archive.ph to bypass paywalls. No account is needed.

Side note but that area around LA Union is pathetic. It should look like the rest of DTLA
