So much scrutiny in that article about budget and whether or not the project can turn a profit :roll_eyes:

Meanwhile a highway widening project with a price tag twice the size wouldn’t even be worthy of their time to write the article

That is the norm with transit projects. Not only are they subject to extensive enviornmental reviews which delays them further, their chance of success are heavily scrutinized. Highway widening never gets this much scrutiny and as we have seen with the NJ Turnpike, they are trying to get it done while NJ Transit suffers.

Florida is full of morons. How they don’t assume a train is coming when the gates are down, with flashing red lights and bells ringing is absurd.
