I neglected to mention that given this scenario the best way on LI to start such a project would be to extend the Sunken Meadow State Parkway by adding a northbound roadway through the traffic circle.

New Haven sounds like a better option because it is more centrally located and is growing quicker than Bridgeport

A minor-league baseball team couldn’t survive in Bridgeport.

What makes them think a soccer team would fare any better?

Maybe next time they can try marketing a professional lacrosse squad LOL.

“The landmark red-and-white smokestack towering over the harbor will remain part of Bridgeport’s skyline for at least a few more months.

The owner of the ex-coal-fired power plant beneath that 500-foot industrial symbol is pushing off its previously-announced spring demolition until around September at the earliest.

The bulk of the facility was imploded late last September”
