Did everybody see the Sopranos ad in the Super Bowl? They redid the shot from the Weehawken helix. And they redid the shot of the Twin Towers from the side mirror with 1WTC.
Surprisingly poignant ad, especially since James Gandolfini has passed.
Really shows how having almost no other supertalls in the skyline really cemented ESB’s dominance for the century.
I know this is a Jersey comparison, but oml look at the NYC skyline change in just 10 years!
Also I’m glad Jersey City is bulking up, would still love to see a supertall on the other side of the river
