The newest project is Society Towers, 300m high tower, located at the junction of Barricade Street, Ludovik Shllaku, and Dibra Street, the proposed construction site enjoys a central position in Tirana.
Occupying a total area of 4 610 square meters, it sits in close proximity to notable landmarks such as the National Opera House and the National Library, as well as recent tower developments. Adjacent to the site lies the “Bazaar Tekke”, a revered Bektashi Order worship temple.
Through this design competition the organizers are inviting visionary architecture practices from around the world , 4 internacional studio (1.Elemental, 2.Domenique Perrault Architecture, 3.Snohetta, 4.Sou
Fujimoto) to conceptualize a landmark tower (or towers) in the vibrant heart of Tirana city center. The winner of the competition was Elemental, studio from Chile.
