Track the ship
Too bad about the historic ship, now it will soon be one of the lost liners.

She passed the heart of Miami at 6PM today. I bet she’ll reach Mobile, Alabama probably four or five days from now. And afterwards I heard the work will continue on the ship there for possibly a year, cleaning and saving the large funnels for a museum.

We would have also accepted “that ship has sailed” in lieu of “beating a dead horse.”
Window removal is noticable, and it was stated that they’re working on removing scrap from the funnels. When the ship (hopefully not) sinks, it will not have the funnels attached. They will be preserved
At this point, what’s the alternative? Is there really any hope this ship will be preserved and not sunk to become a reef?
The New York Coalition is in a legal battle with the county to attempt to save the ship. It’s an ongoing case, but I’m doing my best to keep faith. Especially after I saw the ship pass me roughly 200 feet away
I’m sorry, but this litigation is of a vexatious sort. It’s not going to change the outcome. It’s like trying to pump water out of the Titanic as it’s splitting apart after striking the iceberg. There’s no denying it - this ship is going down.
I understand what you’re saying. But I still have hope
It will be sunk stern first
^This was a post from Instagram, not mine. The SS United States Conservancy stated that one of the funnels will be removed today
