Wow. Thank u for posting that building. I always wondered what that building was - I never knew it was a NYPD building!

Thank you. It’s refreshing to see NYC finally bringing more of NYPDs rather intimidating facades into the 21st century. Now if the ancient FDNY and FDNY-EMS houses and garages were on the next infrastructure planning boards all would be right with the world. Thanks for posting and enjoy your weekend.
This is slightly off-topic, but why do NY emergency services (FDNY, NYPD) seem to have very old-fashioned equipment compared to other places in the US, but especially to Europe or Asia?
The new 40th Precinct station house at East 149th Street and St. Ann’s Avenue opened to residents this week.
