Stalled, I guess
why do the ugliest buildings (this and 262 fifth avenue) always stall and blight the skyline
I still think they should just tear it down and start over. It’s insane how many times this project has started and stopped. Or at least change the design again.
Cantilevered towers are always weird, especially when the cantilever is as big as it is here, and there’s few in the city that are actually able to pull off the cantilever. CPT does a good job at masking it’s cantilever, though that’s probably just a factor of the height.
It really is unbelievable, is the project in this much trouble? Just hoping we get at least something at this point instead of another 45 Park Place.
The thing is is that there’s been absolutely 0 news on what is actually happening here (if there are any issues) since the project basically “paused” in late 2024, no articles or anything to give any indication to the actual status of the project.
There is A LOT of supplies dispersed throughout the building waiting to be used and hundreds of curtainwall panels waiting to be installed for over a year and approaching 2.
I’m guessing some kind of lawsuit.
Shocking lol.
fork found in kitchen
Was it the dirty one from the Monty Python sketch?
This is SHOCKING (to just about nobody lol).!!
Does this developer have enough cash on hand to purchase a presidential pardon?
That would go a long way towards helping this tower restart construction.
lol lol
