really liking some of these finishes
went by here Thursday night. Looks pretty darn nice!
Another amazing transformation - I hope they redo that section of Atlantic (all the way to Barclays) - they been working on some other sections way up closer to east New York
The unwrapping continues - I hope the next wave of buildings keep the same level of quality.
A reminder of how much this has changed:
Is a road diet planned for this street? Very pedestrian unfriendly and 8 lanes is unnecessary.
918 Atlantic Avenue
The Brooklyn project from SoHo-based developer EMP Capital Group would rise at 918 Atlantic Ave. on the border of Prospect Heights and Crown Heights, according to plans recently filed with the Department of Buildings. The 16-story building would span about 99,000 square feet and stand 184 feet tall, with retail space on the ground floor.
The company does not have an estimated cost for the project yet but hopes to start construction in the spring and finish up work in mid 2027, said Elie Pariente, principal at EMP Capital. The 99 apartments will likely be split between 25% affordable and 75% market rate. The affordable units would rent for an average of 60% of the area median income, or about $87,000 for a family of three.
