I didn’t know they were demolishing the tower.

A construction worker from the site told me they are demolishing down until like 14th floor or so (not sure how accurate that number is), and then rebuilding new floors back up.

It is bizarre especially since the new version looks like a reskinned copy of the old one.
They shoulda gone for the title of tallest hotel on times square for bragging rights/marketing!

Not sure how low they are going. They seem to have chopped half of it off since early Sept. But since your post it doesn’t seem to have gone any lower. About the same as it’s neighbor.
