I think this would be a great location for a world-class center dedicated to the study of Talmudical thought.
It’s not exactly a secret that the yeshivas of Brooklyn are running out of space for their exponentially increasing student population, but many of them are reluctant to relocate to Rockland or Orange counties in upstate New York as that could involve having to uproot many families. A location in Staten Island close to the Verrazano Bridge would be within commuting distance of frum families in Borough Park and possibly Midwood and Flatbush as well.
