The company will begin moving into its new space around Labor Day, it said, and will sublease its One World Trade and One Pierrepont spaces, adding that much more space to an already saturated New York City sublease market. Cushman & Wakefield is itself subleasing its new space from AKF Group, a building engineering firm.

This is the companion piece to the old World Trade Center image in post #800. I miss the old New York. Those were good days.

Anyone know what the deal with the east plaza is? Seems weird that they completed it but kept it closed off. Waiting to open it till the 11th maybe?

Probably later. I doubt it is safe to be there on construction days unless there is scaffolding. So rather than cover it up they are just going to wait until exterior work is done on the PAC.

the spire seems to have been off for the past several nights. Outage? Or maybe they’re finally fixing the damn thing. (one can hope)

Base lights are also breaking down again and one of the mechanical floors on one side is busted. Unfortunately this isn’t the season where they do lighting repairs (too cold and windy?) at least in my observation so itll probably turn on again soon and is something to do with the computer that runs it

Has anyone ever considered why they didn’t build Seven WTC as a twin to One WTC?

Does anyone know the zoning for this tower? I know it is not inside the original WTC bathtub, not sure if it is on the port authority annex or subject to normal NYC rules
