After looking at the 3 Hudson thread, I was concerned they turned the top part into a box too. Thankfully nothing too bad.

Nope. They’re just considering different observation deck options within the approved building envelope.
Anytime I read about “upgrades” or “redesigns” on these projects it makes me nervous.

The cam moves periodically and sometimes lands on 1 Vandy’s construction site.
Edit: It must be windy, it’s pretty shaky. It’s not normally like that.

Is anything happening at Ceruzzi’s 520 Fifth Avenue site or at Extell’s site on 5th and 47th?
As the stretch of Fifth between 43rd and around 48th is the worst part of the avenue, I hope the eyesores there get redeveloped. I’d like to see Stawski’s and Silverstein’s horrrible office buildings come down, as well as that heinous Thai Airways building.
