Tonight the illuminated spire goes dark for a few seconds and then brightens again, once a minute. Very nice.

I wonder what the spire will be when the next Star Wars movie comes out.
Anything involving the dark side must have a red colored spire, at a minimum.

If they have red on one half and blue on one half I’d love to see that, I believe the story concludes with balance so they’d probably use the two colors that represents the light and dark side

Am I the only one who doesn’t care about star wars anymore?
The past few movies have been so atrocious I don’t even watch the originals anymore.
I just want to see how they make the spire glow black when the Nets are in the NBA finals.

Speaking for myself I’ve never been wowed by Star Wars.
The Sequels are Disneys cash grab, Prequels were to add on to the originals, and the Originals are the holy trinity that were actually made with care and heart. Only if we were back in 1977 you’d be wowed, now it’s just a common thing. That’s why people feel underwhelmed

Speaking of Star Wars… I just finished Bob Igers new book which had some interesting bits about how Disney was able to convince George Lucas to sell along with acquiring Pixar from Steve Jobs and the Marvel acquisition. Highly recommend for anyone interested in that stuff.
