41-10 27th Street: An LLC has filed applications for an 18-story, 110-unit mixed-use residential and retail building measuring 90,069 square feet to span the vacant lots of 41-06 – 41-10 27th Street, in Long Island City. Raymond Chan is designing, and the site’s former two-story structure was demolished in 2008.

So much going on in LIC. A map of the area would be amazing. Easily a couple of dozen projects within a square mile. All either high rises or skyscrapers.

This building looks like it will take up most of this giant hole but it seems there is another project at the back of this site away from queens plaza side. The on site rendering shows the old brick building behind it but that is obviously gone now.
