I agree. Before I took a corporate job, I used to ride the LIRR a lot, and it’s utterly deplorable. It’s not the way 600k people per day should enter one of the greatest cities in the world.
I’ve always thought that the city should buy this 7th Ave parcel from Vornado and build a grandiose entry here.
