NEW YORK | LOW-RISE / GENERAL Development News + Construction

Another Roman & Williams coming soon?

“Starting a traditional new ground up residential building in NYC today in the Gramercy Park area - this is an unrelated old concept sketch I did in 2002 - something I did dreaming of having a chance at bringing detail and articulation back to architecture - cannot wait to do some new drawings for our 5th building in NYC.”

I hope that it will replace junk in the Gramecy area and not a beautiful old building.

This hideous garbage must come down.

I found that Canal/Baxter Street Building Corner.

This is great! Such an attractive building and it sits unused while the park is as popular as ever. Hopefully all the amenities won’t be 100% chi chi.

More units are always great, but pathetically small for a city of this size.

I’m not sure if this project has it’s own topic. They’ve been working on the interiors for a while, and finally posted a drawing of the exterior renovations.

Wow! They’re adding that addition into the existing building? It looks great!

Maybe…but I believe that is the back of this building:
