The building is beautiful, and the overall area is stunning, but for the immediate location of this tower. Those heinous FedEx, UPS, etc. facilities must go.
Here is a ‘fine arts’ rendering of the building, and a whimsical look at the interior spaces, and the various occupants who live inside. The large ‘punch windows’ was a smart move - as opposed to full height glass - as you get maximum interior light/views; while maintaining a sense of ‘enclosure’ and comfort for the apartments within the building. Very nice painting by artist: Aaron Zulpo
This is really well done: all around - particularly those ‘rounded’ corners.
This is masterful modernism; intricate form factor, nice articulated set-backs, great materials/textures/color on the facade.
The brickwork is well done too: no sloppy mortar joints between the prefabricated brick panel sections. There seems to be a better than average level of trade work being done: those window frames set perfectly without all the usual gobs of caulking we often see between the frame and brickwork.
The is way better than ‘building standard’ architectural design; not quite ICONIC - but close.
