Everything taller than the Metlife building here (aside from the Chrysler and ESB) did not exist 15 years ago
I had the same thought while taking my photos today.
Is that only counting visible structures in the photo? There are several other visible structures taller than the Metlife that were built before 2010 that aren’t the two previously mentioned.
I’m wondering how long it will be before the land where these warehouses sit becomes too valuable to keep as is, and the rest of the neighborhood starts to be redeveloped.
There’s a flood risk.
interesting that they thought that putting walls where normally you would expect a corner unit with views was the right way to go here
There’s a column in the corner behind the opaque panels, they were also trying to keep the modulation, it was either just blank the panel off or have an actual sliver of a window, the latter wouldve ruined the modulation.
Uh oh back to the patchy stonework.
