1000’ filler

It sounds nuts, but I’ve been thinking for a while that some “1000’ filler” is exactly what the Billionaires Row skyline needs. The main towers are so cartoonishly tall compared to their surroundings, a visual “middle layer” between those peaks and the 700-800’ Midtown plateau would make things more balanced and pleasing to the eye. (Ideally I’d like to see a couple of supertalls just to the south and west of Columbus Circle but I don’t know of any projects in the works.)

Give it time they’ll show up.
In the meantime we’re getting several 1,000 ft - 1,200 ft buildings going up in between the really big ones. Should make it look really nice.

what are these green buildings?
The taller ones on the right are 41W 57th st and 10W57th St. The shorter ones on the left are 1710 Broadway and the even shorter one is the other empty lot on the same block that Extell owns (or I think they still do).
