Should be a hole in the ground at this point, maybe couple floors if it’s still U/C?
hey y’all this is my first post! I live in the area and went to check it out. excavation Is well underway, id say a few floors below street lvl. didn’t get any pics because I was driving. will be making regular check ups with pics in the future!

To have such a tall tower so far from downtown constructed in the 21st century is more of a Toronto or Vancouver thing. How did this happen in New York City?

This area was last rezoned in 1961, when the original zoning code was passed. Height factor zoning - the bigger the lot, the taller you can go.

I feel like the towers are out of place but maybe this will be a journal square type situation and it will fill in eventually but idk
