NEW YORK | 625 Madison Ave | 800 FT | 34 FLOORS

So this is becoming true?

I’m astounded this one isn’t an office tower given the size of the site. 655 Madison is going to be a lot larger and have an office component with a smaller site compared to this 764,698sf vs 496,000sf

Was playing around on skyscraperpage then saw that a diagram has been made of the building

what design are they even basing it off?

Probably the massing

From CityRealty maybe? At 500K sf this is 1/4 the volume/massing of the slimmed down 2 WTC so that render is way too thick.

That’s probably the least detailed construction fence drawing I’ve ever seen. A step away from a crayon drawing.

I believe the height of this project has changed as well. At this point, I’m hoping the design is unique and not just a glass box.

I wonder when this building could start its vertical construction.

The actual height is the 624 that 007 referenced from NYguys SSP post, 676 is the height AMSL.

The height figure could just be a place holder though for DOB, really just seems dependent on what the buildings use will be in the end. If this really is just all office/commercial it probably wont be very tall. The former scheme when SCLE was on the project wouldve had to go through ULURP, it doesn’t have to if the site use isnt changing now.

This developer will get a height boost once they come up with a plan to improve the surrounding transit situation. The whole zoning for accessibility. So the 1200+ ft height figure is still in play, once they go for the bonus, which they have yet to do so.

Office Tower. 52-story. Not sure the height if someone maybe knows or has rough estimate. Reminds alot of the second design of 350 Park Ave or even 15 penn, lol.

It was 100% to be expected coming from F&P since all their work is now just reusing designs over and over again…

GM Building is 705’ tall, so if the render is accurate, its maybe like 750’ or so. Doesn’t appear like itd be pushing 800’ at all.
