The glass and sheathing on this already remarkable building are terrific. This will be one of the most important buildings put up in the city in this era. The architects deserve a hearty thank you.

I totally agree! It’s looking great.
I think out of all the towers that are going up in NYC, this has to be almost just as iconic as the Steinway and One Vanderbilt for me.
If Verre got it’s height back, it would be #1 on my list.

I think 1 Vandy due to its sheer size, Steinway because it is unique, and Verre cuz its sexy.
If Verre was 1250 like originally planned number 1 easy.

Man…why did they have to cut the height?? Ugh… would have easily been the best building in NYC.
