I feel like the tower going up near Columbus Circle could’ve looked like this one and would’ve looked hundreds of times better than it ended up looking like.

This building is beautiful. It reminds me of the one on the west side of Madison at 51st St.

This project certainly give’s off a better “industrial” Chelsea like vibe than 1841 Broadway does, and while this one is using terracotta instead of bricks, the overall massing and shape is still comparable. 1841B is just too messy and it’s clear that a better use of materials and cleaner design makes this project hundreds of times better.

@robertwalpole Indeed it is very reminiscent of 488 Madison Ave. I definitely like the terracotta over the brick though.

The crisp look this building achieved with the contrast between glass windows vs.terracotta bands is what makes it to me. Really sharp and high quality.
